Location The commune of Łubianka is situated in the District of Toruń, the central part of the Province of Kuyavia and Pomerania. It borders the communes of Chełmża, Łysomice and Zławieś Wielka from the District of Toruń and the communes of Unisław and Kijewo Królewskie from the District of Chełmno. Local authorities are seated in the village of Łubianka, 16km north-west of Toruń. The commune comprises 14 villages, which constitute 12 administrative units: Bierzgłowo, Biskupice, Brąchnowo, Dębiny, Łubianka, Pigża, Przeczno, Warszewice, Wybcz, Wybczyk, Wymysłowo, Zamek Bierzgłowski.
The commune stretches almost entirely in the Lake District of Chełmno, with the exception of its small southern part, which lies in the Valley of Toruń, a precious area of protected landscape.
